last night i was treated to an amazing meal at Genoa. they don’t have the valentine’s day menu up, but the one that is posted sounds just as magnificant. it almost felt like being in buenos aires again. a long, drawn out meal full of rich conversation, good wine and delectible food. THANKS VICTOR!!

1. didn’t win the photo contest but thanks for your help! i was a finalist and after seeing how many people participated and attended the ‘gala’ i am pround to have gone that far. time to start shooting for next year’s contest!
2.went to NYC for 4 days with work at the end of january. it was great, saw amazing things. (MOMA & copper hewit museums, a few galleries and lots of boutiques) it was pretty chilly but very nice, despite my coworkers continual complaints while outside.
3.a childhood friend was in town this past weekend (2/9-2/11). Joy Luccesi Ford (sorry for the misspelling). we’ve been friends since ‘86. she stayed with another long time friend Camesha Hart Robb (earsier to spell). i was able to hang out with them 2 nights and my belly hurts from laughing so much. if only we could do that every week.
4.i also had the opportunity to go up to seattle for ANOTHER long time friend’s birthday party. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN! (reynolds/gollwitzer) AND my dear friend Rona Spellecacy was there. (she lives up there, too)
5.i’ve started working out again. (damn… i’m gonna look hot! if i can make it past the “i can’t walk upstairs without crying” stage.) wish me luck.
6.it’s almost spring here. we have some trees blooming and there are signs of early flowers pushing there way out of the cold, soggy, winter dirt.
